Beasts of the Southern Wild
The American fantasy film Beasts of the Southern Wild, directed by Benh Zeitlin, narrates the story of a little girl who is faced with both her father’s fading health and the melting ice-caps that flood her ramshackle bayou community. During this, the six-year-old Hushpuppy must learn the ways of courage and love.
The film won the Grand Jury Price 2012 at the Sundance Festival and gets highly praised. We cannot wait for the film to screen in Germany.
