Tijuana is a cultural crossroad for many: not only drug traffickers, but also deported “aliens,” trapeze artists, migrants and immigrants, music trends, street opera singers and visual artists. 
One of these local artists is Sharlene Garcia, who was born in San Diego and now lives in Tijuana, Baja California. Her sense of melancholy style and the confusing, geometrical figures within her paintings have been very recognized in these two cities.
