BERLIN NOW - 1985 is a film by Wolfgang Büld featuring some of the most groundbreaking and important experimental musicians of the 80s. Einstürzende Neubauten, Die Haut, Blixa Bargeld, Alexander Hacke, Mike Vamp, FM Einheit, Mona Mur and many more. The film revolves around the divide between the political whitewashing and cultivation of the “New Berlin” and what the city actually is, a place filled with rotting, empty building and deserted lots.
