Yokosuka, Japan was cool in a rugged lawless kind of way, but that was all during the Vietnam War when there were many bars and clubs for the U.S. Troops along Dobuita street. Thing are bit more refined these days, and you can even find a house like this on top of the hill by architect Katsufumi Kubota (via WHAT WE DO IS SECRET)
