Hien Le AW 2012/13 by Amos Fricke
When we first met designer Hien Le years ago, he was standing next to the DJ booth of his friends Nadine and Sarah of Okay&Okay, observing the crowd at the legendary tuesday dinner parties at „Apartment“ (R.I.P.)
Some time later, and we were not that innocent, he became one of Berlins worst kept secrets in fashion. His debut collection at the Berlin Fashion Week in summer 2011 made the hearts of the spectators melt when glowing models strut down the runway in beautiful bright colours and clean cuts.
For the campaign of his new AW 2012/13 collection, he teamed up with another local breed: up and coming photographer Amos Fricke who splits his time between New York and Berlin these days. Despite being only 24 years old, Amos already worked for magazines like I Love You, Quality and Style and the Family Tunes.
We really like the delicate contrast of Amos‘ raw, direct view and the beautiful choice of material and color combinations in Hiens designs.
