FvF London: Meet bookshop owner Conor Donlon
“Matching the right book with the right person makes me a happy boy” says Conor Donlon about his passion for bookselling. Having studied fashion design at Central Saint Martins, he always took a different path than everyone else. In the six years of his studies he didn’t make a single piece of clothing, but instead “my MA ended with flocked power tools, a fascist army of Irish dancing trophy tops and a very confused external examiner”. Shortly after, he became assistant of Wolfgang Tillmans and sold his first books downstairs from his studio.
