HUH. Magazine - First Look: Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie
Disney have just released the first few stills from a new Tim Burton stop-motion animation called Frankenweenie. The film was originally created as a short by Burton all the way back in 1984, but Disney deemed it to be too dark and family-unfriendly and Burton subsequently lost his job. With Burton’s style and films continuing to grow in popularity, the cartoon conglomerate have now done a complete U-turn and are now fully bankrolling the black-and-white feature. (via HUH.)
