From China to Paris: Meet Patrice Bastian & Laetitia Schlumberger on FvF
The creative director, Patrice Bastian and his wife and lingerie designer, Laetitia Schlumberger first met in Shanghai before they reconnected in Paris. Today they have built a life working and living together with their son Yume in the city of love. Trained as an architect, Patrice is a real sneaker addict, so much so, he acquired the Asian shoe brand Feiyue with a friend. Laetitia specializes in high-end lingerie and established her own business, Dément.

“Maho Beach” is a photographic project by Los Angeles born photographer Thomas Prior, a graduate of The School of Visual Arts in New York.
The beach that is the subject of this series is located nearby the airport of Saint Maarten, an Dutch islands of the Antilles in the Caribbean.
Prior’s images receive their unsettling nature through the effects of the airplanes that fly overhead on their way to the airport; contrasting the paradisiacal beauty of nature with the bewildering effects of the planes.
